The charter, the change request and the budget versions come as ready modules in FlexiProject. Test one project and see if it is a good OnePlan alternative.

Both systems carry a schedule, approval paths and a budget. FlexiProject is a OnePlan alternative with ready modules in five areas: charter, change request, risk matrix, products and templates.
The project charter records the goal, the scope and the success measures, with a baseline and a target value. You approve the charter on an approval path, and every approved version goes to the archive with its author and date. Different project categories can use their own charter templates.

In the change request you enter the reason and the proposed dates. The change request lists the planned and requested end date and budget, so you judge the scale of the change first. Once approved, the previous plan version stays in the history for comparison.

You set the risk matrix to a three by three scale, a five by five scale, or your own dimensions and thresholds. Each risk carries an owner, a response plan and a link to the task it affects. You review the risks of all projects from the portfolio tab.

You describe products separately from tasks, and each one gets an owner, a deadline and acceptance criteria. You link a product to the tasks that deliver it, so you know which tasks the acceptance depends on.

The project template carries the schedule, the budget, the typical risks and the products, and you attach document patterns to its elements. Dates in the template are counted in working days from the project start. You save a finished project as a new template in one click.

FlexiProject is a OnePlan alternative with a ready working standard for the project office. The charter, the risk matrix, the products and the approval paths come ready in the system. You configure them to your own rules without a developer and without an implementation consultant. Every new department starts work on the same pattern.
In work areas, each division keeps its own charter, its own templates and its own approval paths, all inside one instance. One project can belong to several work areas at once. You run FlexiProject in our cloud or on your own servers, with the full feature set. That makes FlexiProject a OnePlan alternative for groups with several companies too.

In energy, the regulator asks who approved a project change and when. In FlexiProject you find the answer in the approval history, with the date and the decision maker's comment.

You settle a design contract on the products and their acceptance. In FlexiProject the products sit in the plan, next to the tasks that deliver them.

Yes. FlexiProject is a good OnePlan alternative when a project office runs many projects on one shared standard. The schedule in both systems has four dependency types, a critical path and baselines. The difference shows up in the project documents. The charter, the products and the change request come as ready modules in project management software, with approval and version history.
Yes. FlexiProject is a good OnePlan alternative for an investment portfolio too. You approve every budget change as a new version, so you know who approved each figure and when. You compare the financial results of all projects in the project portfolio software, alongside the deviations from plan.
Yes. You run recurring and ad hoc work in the operational tasks module, next to your projects. Every operational task carries an owner, a deadline and comments, the same as a schedule task. Recurring tasks come back on their own after completion, so you do not set them up again every week. The team keeps project and operational work in one system, without a separate tool for daily matters.
You build the plan in the project schedule software, with a multi-level task structure and milestones. You get four dependency types with lag, plus a critical path. Dates on dependent tasks recalculate on their own, and the calendar accounts for holidays and leave. You import a ready schedule from MS Project or from Excel with column mapping.
The Gantt chart tool shows the deviation from the baseline at every task. Delayed milestones are highlighted, and the progress of each phase and of the whole project is calculated from its subtasks. OnePlan also shows baselines on its Gantt chart. In FlexiProject every approved plan version stays in the history, so you compare the current plan against any earlier one.
You submit a change request with a reason, and you see the planned and the requested end date and budget with the difference. The request goes through approval workflow software, including multi-step and parallel paths. You name the decision maker as a project role. Once approved, the previous plan version stays in the history with its author and date.
You plan costs and revenue in the project budget software, so you see the project profit right away. You tie budget lines to schedule tasks. Move a task, and its cash flow date moves with it. OnePlan converts effort into cost and revenue through cost and rate tables. In FlexiProject you see the forecast to completion next to the plan and the costs incurred. Every budget change is a new version.
Data from the schedule, the budget and the risks flows into the report automatically. The report follows a company template, so the steering committee compares projects on the same layout. The project review software keeps an archive of past reviews, with management decisions and comments.
Yes. You see schedule tasks in the kanban board software too. The list, the Gantt chart and the board are three views of the same data. When someone moves a card, the manager sees the new task status on the schedule right away. One task can carry several owners. The team works in its own view, and you never copy data back into the project plan.
In the portfolio simulation you switch off selected projects and see right away how the portfolio indicators change. On the attractiveness matrix you compare the business benefit of projects against their complexity. You group related projects in the program management module into one shared schedule with dependencies between tasks. You check the effect of a date shift in a what-if variant before you change the plan.
You set the scoring criteria and their weights in the project scoring software, and you build separate models for different project types. You send a scoring survey to several reviewers and see their ratings side by side. In OnePlan the priority score is a field on the portfolio model, without a survey for several reviewers. In FlexiProject you score a project again while it runs and decide whether to continue it.
A goal in the strategy management module carries a baseline, a target and a current value. Goals form a tree with subgoals, and you link projects to a goal with a level of impact. Management sees goals, their indicators and the projects that deliver them on one screen. You track goal progress through the indicator current value.
The resource management software shows workload across the whole organisation and in individual departments. Daily availability accounts for FTE and leave, which you import from Outlook. When you assign a task, you get a warning if someone goes over their availability. You see workload on the Gantt chart too, so you check the effect of a task shift right away.
You log hours against a schedule task in the time tracking software or in the mobile app. You compare planned and actual time for every task. That way you see quickly where work took longer than the plan assumed. From the phone, a team member also reports task progress with a comment and a photo.
You add comments on a task, a risk, a budget line and a product, so the conversation stays with the matter it concerns. Both systems integrate with Microsoft Teams. FlexiProject also gives you a project chat in its project communication software, archived together with the project. An @mention sends a notification right away, and everybody sets their own email alerts.
Yes. For organisations that must keep data on premises, FlexiProject is a OnePlan alternative on your own servers. The server version carries the full feature set, and the knowledge base module works there the same as in the cloud. OnePlan runs only in Azure, and its Relay agent only reaches local data. In the FlexiProject cloud, data is stored in the European Economic Area.
The charter, the risk matrix, the products and the approval paths come ready in the system. You configure them without a developer and without an implementation consultant, and setup and configuration for your organisation are included in the licence. In OnePlan an administrator first defines areas, work types, fields and forms. FlexiProject also gives you ready report sets for departments and roles in its reporting software.
Rates are on the pricing page. One full licence for an administrator is enough to start, with no minimum seat count. The number of free users who only complete the tasks assigned to them is unlimited. In FlexiProject, test and training environments are part of the standard offer.
