Project programs
Programs in FlexiProject are a tool for grouping multiple projects to manage and monitor them as a single, cohesive unit. This allows for viewing aggregated schedules, analyzing cross-project dependencies, and centrally updating individual project schedules based on dependencies between tasks.
Program management is available exclusively to users with Global Project Administrator permissions.

Managing Projects within a Program
After creating a program, you can assign existing projects to it.
-
Go to the program view, and then click the Manage Projects button.
-
A panel will open where you can:
-
Add projects to the program by clicking + Add Project.
-
Remove projects from the program.
-
Change the order of projects using the drag-and-drop method.
-
-
Confirm all changes by clicking the Save button.
Program Schedule
The main program view displays an aggregated schedule (in the form of a task list or a Gantt chart) of all projects belonging to the program.
-
The view is read-only – tasks cannot be edited within it.
-
The view configuration (visible columns, filters) is shared among all users with access to the program.
-
The row numbering and WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) remain separate for each project.
-
Clicking on a task’s name takes you directly to its details in the parent project.
Recalculating Dependencies in a Program
Dependencies between tasks in different projects do not update automatically. To see their impact on dates, you must initiate a recalculation.
-
In the program schedule view, click the Recalculate Dependencies button. The button is active only if the defined dependencies will cause changes to task dates.
-
The system will run a simulation and highlight all tasks whose dates are set to change.
-
To permanently apply the changes, click the Save button.
Note: Saving the changes is irreversible and permanently updates the schedules in all projects affected by the recalculation.
