Task tab

A new “Task” tab has been added to the main menu, displaying all tasks assigned to the logged-in user. By default, the list will show unfinished tasks and milestones. Using filters, users can also revisit completed items. The Task tab allows users to view task details without entering specific projects, enabling easy switching between tasks across multiple projects.

Free licenses for users

The new release introduces free licenses, allowing unlimited users to be added to the system without purchasing additional licenses. However, these users will have limited permissions, allowing them only to view their tasks and update the status of assigned items. License changes can only be made by an administrator via the “Users” tab. Additionally, the tab displays information about the current license distribution and usage across the organization.

System administrators

As part of license enhancements, the role of a system administrator has been defined. All users with access to system settings now hold this role. The new role facilitates quick identification of users with full application permissions.

Project cloning

A new project cloning option has been added to project settings. This feature enables the creation of a new project based on an existing one. During cloning, all elements—schedules, budgets, risks, and products—will be copied without transferring their statuses or comments.

Saving projects as templates

Alongside project cloning, a new feature allows saving completed projects as templates. This functionality enables transferring all elements—schedules, budgets, risks, and products—to a template along with their contents. Calendar days are automatically converted to workdays when used in project templates.

JIRA Integration

The new version introduces integration between FlexiProject and JIRA projects. To enable this, the Administrator must first activate the option in system settings and provide the server address, email, and generated key.

Upon successful configuration, each project will include the option to integrate with a designated JIRA project by entering a key.

After integration, relevant schedule elements can be linked to specific JIRA project components. Names and links to connected items will be visible in the task details. Additionally, users can quickly navigate to a JIRA project via an icon next to its name. A new “JIRA” column in the list view indicates which tasks are linked to JIRA, with detailed information displayed upon hovering over the icon.

Editable project stages

With the latest release, organizations can define their own project statuses. Administrators can modify this option in system settings. Existing stages have been migrated to system settings but remain editable. Custom project stages can also be used for filtering project lists, portfolios, and report creation. The project stage option can also be enabled in portfolio schedules.

Scoring deactivation

FlexiProject administrators can now disable the Scoring functionality in system settings. Disabling this feature does not result in data loss but merely hides it in the system. Scoring can be re-enabled at any time.

Review deactivation

The latest release also includes the option to deactivate Reviews across the application. Similar to Scoring, disabling this feature does not result in data loss but hides it in the system. Reviews can be re-enabled at any time.

In the Reports tab, Excel export has been improved to include columns visible on the screen. Additionally, when exporting schedule data to Excel, users will see custom columns added to the project.

Task watching

A new feature allows users to watch tasks. By clicking on the bell icon, users will receive milestone notifications whenever a task element is changed. Users can disable email notifications at any time in the notification settings within their user profile.
