FlexiProject at PM Summit 2026: from delivery to value

Delivery on its own no longer proves a project worked. A project can finish on time, on budget, and with every milestone checked, and leadership will still ask what value it actually created. That question sits at the center of PM Summit 2026, the flagship conference of the PMI Bulgaria Chapter, held on November 4-5, 2026 in Sofia. FlexiProject is a proud sponsor of this year’s edition, and Włodzimierz Makowski will take the stage with a session on how to measure and maximize real project value. Here is what to expect, and where to find us.

PM Summit 2026 in Sofia: dates, venue and theme

PM Summit 2026 is the flagship event of the PMI Bulgaria Chapter and one of the region’s key gatherings for the project management community. It takes place on November 4-5, 2026 at the John Atanasoff Forum in Sofia Tech Park, bringing together project managers, PMO leaders, executives, and anyone responsible for turning strategy into delivered results.

This year’s theme is M.O.R.E. – The Power of Value, and it is more than a conference tagline. M.O.R.E. is the framework PMI now uses to describe where the profession is heading: Manage perceptions, Own success, Relentlessly reassess, and Expand perspective. Each practice points in the same direction, away from execution for its own sake and toward the value a project leaves behind.

Two full days combine keynotes, practical sessions, and space to exchange ideas with peers from different organizations and countries. For teams rethinking how they define and prove project success, it is a timely place to be.

M.O.R.E. and the shift from delivery to value

For years, project success was measured against the familiar triangle of time, cost, and scope. That bar is no longer enough. PMI’s latest research puts it plainly: just over half of projects today deliver value that clearly outweighs the effort and expense behind them. Finishing the plan is not the same as creating something worth the investment.

M.O.R.E. reframes the work around that gap. Managing perceptions means aligning what stakeholders expect so the value delivered is actually seen. Owning success means connecting project outcomes to broader organizational goals rather than a checklist of tasks. Relentlessly reassessing means measuring what matters and adjusting as conditions change. Expanding perspective means weighing the wider business and societal impact of the work.

The common thread is value, made visible and measurable. That is also where many teams struggle, and exactly the ground FlexiProject’s session will cover.

FlexiProject’s session: measuring and maximizing project value

FlexiProject’s presentation at PM Summit 2026 is delivered by Włodzimierz Makowski, who has led FlexiProject since 2018 and has gained broad experience implementing the system in organizations of different scales, from small project teams to large, complex portfolios spanning multiple departments. His session, “From delivery to value: How to measure and maximize project impact,” starts from a scene every PMO knows: a project closes on time and on budget, every milestone ticked, and in the next leadership meeting someone still asks what the organization actually got from it.

The session unpacks why that gap exists, from portfolios disconnected from strategy to project managers who deliver flawlessly but struggle to speak the language of business value. Then it gets practical. Using FlexiProject as a real-world example, it shows how a modern PPM and PMO system supports value-driven project management in practice: scoring projects by their value potential, connecting strategic goals directly to project KPIs, and shifting reporting from “where are we” to “why does this still matter.”

Attendees will leave with concrete ways to start managing projects through the lens of value rather than status, and with ideas they can apply the very next Monday morning. It is a session built entirely around this year’s theme: the power of value.

Why FlexiProject supports PM Summit 2026

Sponsoring PM Summit 2026 is a natural fit. The questions at the heart of the event, how to prove value, connect strategy to delivery, and give leaders a clear view of impact, are the same questions FlexiProject was built to answer.

As a full-featured PPM platform, FlexiProject helps organizations structure their portfolios, tie projects to strategic goals, and replace status updates with a clear picture of value and progress. Supporting a conference devoted to value is a way to contribute to the standards and the community that move the profession forward.

This continues a path FlexiProject has walked at other PMI events, including its role as a sponsor of the PMI Art of Projects 2026 conference. For us, events like this are less about sponsorship and more about being part of the conversation on how projects, programs, and portfolios should be run today.
