ITTS Sp. z o.o. is a technology company based in Bydgoszcz, Poland, which has been rapidly growing since 2011 by implementing telecommunication and electrical installations and IT infrastructure services projects. By combining experience from the construction, telecommunications, and IT sectors, ITTS delivers tailored solutions for private and public sector clients. The company specializes in building and modernizing telecommunication networks, electrical installations, and maintaining and managing IT environments.
As the number of projects increased rapidly, ITTS began recognizing the need to optimize its processes. Managing a portfolio of hundreds of initiatives required better organization and, most importantly, real-time control over schedules, payment deadlines, and information flow between teams. In practice, the previously used decentralized working methods—based on spreadsheets, emails, and local arrangements—proved insufficient in providing the transparency and operational pace the organization needed. Timely identification of delays, efficient assignment of responsibilities, and proactive risk management—whether related to project execution, payments, or costs—became increasingly critical.
Faced with these challenges, ITTS began looking for a tool to help manage its complex project portfolio while genuinely supporting teams in their day-to-day tasks. In response to the identified needs, ITTS decided to implement the FlexiProject system, treating it as a solution to support key aspects of project management, most notably, the control of timelines and budgets within an extensive portfolio of initiatives. From the outset, the goal was not to utilize every available FlexiProject module but to focus on features that addressed the company’s most critical needs. ITTS deliberately limited the implementation scope to the most essential components, which helped avoid overwhelming users and accelerated the organization’s adaptation to the tool.
FlexiProject enabled the aggregation of project data in one place, facilitated tracking of payment deadlines, and improved real-time budget management. An additional enhancement was the introduction of project templates, which streamlined and standardized the planning process for new initiatives.
Thanks to the implementation of FlexiProject, ITTS gained a much clearer view of ongoing operations—around 300 projects are currently being actively monitored in the system, while the total number of registered projects is approaching one thousand. Despite this scale, the system has not led to operational issues; on the contrary, the team now has a tool that allows effective management of such a broad portfolio without sacrificing clarity or control over key execution aspects. One of the most notable improvements has been in on-time delivery—thanks to better organization, clear schedules, and precise monitoring of payments, the company can respond efficiently to current needs without the risk of organizational overload, even as the number of projects continues to grow.
It is worth noting that the system’s usage evolves in parallel with the organization’s growth, as the company grows, so does its readiness to adopt additional functionalities. ITTS views FlexiProject as supporting broader internal transformation, including developing a strong project management culture. What initially served as a solution to a specific challenge has now become a platform for long-term improvements, accompanying the company on its growth journey.
