Scoring forms

Scoring forms let you make various project scoring templates that fit your organization and its projects.

Create a scoring template

  1. Expand the PMO group in the main menu and go to the Scoring module.
  2. Click the Add button under the Scoring tab.
  3. In the Add scoring template window, type in the name of your scoring template.
  4. Click the Add button.
    You’ve now added the scoring template. You’ll see the name of your new scoring template in the list on the Scoring tab.

Edit scoring template info

  1. Expand the PMO group in the main menu and go to the Scoring module.
  2. Open an existing scoring template or create a new one by clicking its name.

  3. Click gear icon next to the scoring form name and select “Edit”. Window will appear. You can edit scoring name and description.
  4. Click Save to confirm changes

Define a scoring question criteria

  1. Expand the PMO group in the main menu and go to the Scoring module.
  2. Open an existing scoring template or create a new one by clicking its name.

  3. In the scoring template, go to the Questions tab and click Add button.
  4. From expanded list of options, select Criteria.
  5. In the Add Criteria window that opens, enter the name of the Criteria and specify the Scope (either Benefit or Complexity).
  6. Optionally, you can enter a description.
  7. Confirm the criteria by clicking Save and close button.
    The new Criteria will be added and displayed in the list on the Questions tab.

Define a scoring question

When adding respondents to scoring questions, you can assign a specific person from the list of added users or a dynamic role. A dynamic role is a project role, for example, a Project Manager. The role of such a respondent is given to the user who performs this role on the project.

  1. Expand the PMO group in the main menu and go to the Scoring module.
  2. Open an existing scoring template or create a new one by clicking its name.

  3. In the scoring template, go to the Questions tab and click the ‘Add.’ button.
  4. From the expanded list of options, select ‘Question.’
  5. In the ‘Add Question’ window that opens, enter the name of the question
  6. Specify the Scope (either ‘Benefit’ or ‘Complexity’)
  7. Assign Criteria,
  8. Specify the importance of the question.
  9. Check the boxes next to the scale and complete the answer descriptions
  10. Assign respondents.
  11. Optionally, you can enter a description.
  12. Confirm the question data by clicking the ‘Save and close.’ button
    The new question will be added and displayed in the list on the Questions tab.

Respondents Management

  1. Expand the PMO group in the main menu and go to the Scoring module.
  2. Open an existing scoring template or create a new one by clicking its name.

  3. In the scoring template, go to the Responders tab and click the ‘Add.’ button.
  4. In the open window, expand the list of users and select the desired user by clicking their username.
  5. Optionally, you can toggle the ‘Copy permissions’ option and select another user from the second list to copy their permissions to the first user.
  6. Click Add button.
  7. The Respondent window will open, allowing you to select or deselect questions requiring a response.
  8. Toggle questions required for the selected respondent
  9. Click ‘Save’. The Respondent will be added and displayed in the list on the Responders tab.

Update scoring forms

If you edit the scoring form, you need to publish it to apply the changes to the projects assigned by the scoring template.

  1. Go to the Publication tab within the scoring template where you made changes.
  2. Click the ‘Publish’ button. The scoring template will be updated in all projects where it was previously assigned.
